Leo DiCaprio fans actually showed up at the Spire to celebrate his Oscar win

LAST WEEK, THIS EVENT was created on Facebook in anticipation of Leonardo DiCaprio finally winning his Oscar.

If Leonardo DiCaprio wins the Oscar, everyone meet at the Spire

Over 16,000 people clicked attend, and similar events were said to have been planned in Barcelona and Madrid.

One guy claimed he showed up at the Spire at 6am this morning, right after the Oscars finished broadcasting in the US:

Despite this man’s great efforts, people believed that the big meet-up scheduled for this evening wouldn’t happen. And yet, at around 6pm…

Yep, DiCaprio fans at the Spire. And more than two or three, by the looks of it.
